EAC Function for Angle Compensation

The patented EAC function (Enhanced Angle Compensation) takes into account not only the measured distance but also the shooting angle. Especially for shots in steep terrain or during mountain hunting, the system calculates the ballistically relevant distance. Compared to simple angle compensation methods, the EAC function delivers more precise values and supports a reliable assessment of the actual shooting distance.

Assumed angle: 40°
Result Rifleman’s Rule: 306 m
Result EAC function: 321 m

In this example, the distance calculated using the EAC function differs by around 15 m from the Rifleman’s Rule result, which can significantly affect point of impact depending on caliber, bullet type and barrel length.
