Steiner High-Contrast Optics with XL Field of View
Steiner's High-Contrast optics ensure bright, high-contrast images with particularly natural color reproduction up to a close range of 2m. This provides a brilliant viewing experience and precise detail recognition, even in bright sunlight or fading light. The extra-large field of view of 125m at 1,000m ensures an optimal overview, making it easy to track your target during hunting.
Fast-Close-Focus for fast and precise focusing
The central focusing wheel allows for continuous and quick focusing from near to infinity, ensuring rapid and precise adjustments in any situation.
Nitrogen pressure filling to prevent fogging and condensation
Steiner's innovative nitrogen pressure filling prevents fogging of the inner lenses and condensation build-up. Thanks to the 2-way valve technology, the binoculars remain maintenance-friendly even after many years.
Extremely robust housing
The durable Makrolon housing made of polycarbonate makes the Ranger Xtreme 8x42 shockproof up to 11G and waterproof up to 3m, and functional in extreme temperature ranges from –20°C to +80°C. The non-slip NBR-Longlife rubber armoring resists oil, acid, and weather influences, making the binoculars reliable even in harsh conditions.
Ergonomic rotating eyecups
The Steiner rotating eyecups are self-locking to always provide the optimal distance to the eyepiece, especially for eyeglass wearers. The three positions allow for an ergonomic, classic cylindrical, and eyeglass wearer position. If the eyecups do not fit perfectly, they can be fine-tuned using the fine-adjustment mechanism. The ergonomic part of the rotating eyecups also provides optimal protection against stray light and disturbing reflections.
Comfortable controls
The Steiner Ranger Xtreme 8x42's controls and finger grooves are also rubberized, ensuring comfortable long-term observations with effective noise dampening.
ClicLoc strap connection
With Steiner's ClicLoc carrying system, your binoculars are securely and stably attached to the strap, and can be quickly removed and reattached with just one hand, providing maximum flexibility and security during hunting and outdoor activities.
