The Hornady CX™ bullet in .284 (7 mm) caliber combines excellent ballistic performance with maximum hunting effectiveness. Made from a monolithic copper alloy, the bullet retains its shape even at high velocities and achieves up to 95% weight retention.

The patented Heat Shield® polymer tip resists aerodynamic heating and ensures a consistently high BC (ballistic coefficient). Thanks to the optimized groove geometry, barrel wear is minimized and friction reduced – without compromising flight stability. The Hornady CX bullet also delivers deep penetration, reliable exit wounds, and uniform expansion, even at lower velocities.
