Guide Orion O635CS Thermal Clip-On Device
The ultra-compact Guide Orion O635CS thermal clip-on device transforms your daytime optic into a powerful thermal imaging system. Equipped with a 640x512 VOx sensor and a NETD of ≤ 15 mK, the Orion O635CS delivers clear and high-contrast thermal images even under challenging conditions such as complete darkness or dense fog. The ApexCore-S1 detector ensures reliable identification of game even in extreme temperatures. In addition, the Nexus 1.0 platform and the Hyper-Light 2.0 AI algorithm provide exceptionally smooth motion rendering and stable image details with sharp contours even at longer distances.
- 640x512 VOx thermal sensor
- 12 µm pixel pitch / NETD ≤ 15 mK
- Compact and ultra-light clip-on with only 285 g weight
- 3-second fast start for immediate readiness
- 50 Hz frame rate for smooth image display
- 35 mm F0.9 objective lens
- Wide field of view approx. 22 x 17 m / 100 m
- 0.49" AMOLED display with 1920x1080 px
- Detection range up to 1,800 m
- 7 color palettes for image adjustment
- Recoil resistance up to 6000 joules
- IP67 protection rating for reliable use in all weather conditions
- Replaceable 18500 battery with up to 7 hours runtime
High-resolution 640 thermal sensor
The integrated VOx infrared sensor with 640x512 px and a 12 µm pixel pitch operates in the 8–14 µm spectral range. Combined with the high thermal sensitivity of ≤ 15 mK, even very small temperature differences become visible. Even when the temperature difference between game and surroundings is minimal, the image remains high in contrast and details remain clearly visible.
The 35 mm F0.9 objective lens provides high light intake and enables a detection range of up to 1,800 m. With a wide field of view of 12.5° x 9.4° (approx. 22 x 17 m at 100 m), terrain can be scanned quickly and efficiently. Especially on fields, meadows, or forest clearings, larger areas remain clearly visible.
Brilliant AMOLED display
The 0.49-inch AMOLED display with 1920 x 1080 pixels renders the thermal image with strong contrast and fine detail. At the same time, the display remains comfortable for the eyes, which is particularly noticeable during longer nighttime observations.
Several color palettes are available to adapt the image to different situations:
- White Hot
- Black Hot
- Red Hot
- Green Hot
- Iron Red
- Blue Hot
- Sepia
ApexVision™ thermal imaging technology
The Orion O635CS operates with the ApexVision-S1 system architecture, a combination of advanced sensor hardware and intelligent image processing. This ensures clearer thermal images and allows heat sources to stand out more distinctly from the background.
The system includes:
- ApexCore-S1 detector: high image resolution and detail rendering
- Nexus 1.0 platform: stable and smooth image processing
- Hyper-Light 2.0 AI algorithm: real-time image optimization
The AI-based algorithm optimizes contrast, brightness, and detail in real time and highlights the thermal signature of the target object more clearly against the background. As a result, contours remain clearly visible even at longer distances.
Compact and lightweight thermal clip-on device
With a weight of only 285 g, the Guide Orion O635CS is one of the lightest thermal clip-on devices with a 640 sensor available on the market. The compact design ensures that the balance of the rifle remains largely unchanged. This preserves handling even during longer waiting periods or when stalking.
A precise focusing ring with mechanical feedback allows accurate focusing even when wearing gloves.
Fast start and smooth image display
The Orion O635CS starts in just 3 seconds and is immediately ready for use. The 50 Hz frame rate ensures a smooth, delay-free display and helps keep moving game clearly in focus.
Robust construction for field use
The thermal clip-on device was specifically developed for hunting use and withstands demanding conditions such as heavy rain, fog, or extreme temperatures.
- Recoil resistance up to 6000 joules
- IP67 protection rating (dustproof and waterproof)
- Operating temperature from -20 °C to +50 °C
Replaceable battery system
The Guide Orion O635CS operates with a replaceable 18500 battery and achieves a runtime of up to 7 hours. Since two batteries are included, operating time can easily be extended. Charging is performed via USB-C.

Mounting note
A suitable adapter for your riflescope is required to mount the clip-on device. The important measurement is the outer diameter of the objective housing, not the lens diameter of the optic.
If you are unsure which adapter fits your optic, we will be happy to assist you. Simply contact us by email or phone for personal advice.
