In the first phase, Cu+2 Copper Remover oxidizes the copper by altering its electronic state.

How to Use Bore Tech Cu+2 Copper Remover™

ENSURE THE FIREARM IS UNLOADED
Saturate 3–4 patches with Cu+2 Copper Remover and push them through the barrel one at a time to remove loose residue. Always push in the same direction.
Make 10–15 passes with a well-fitted nylon brush pre-soaked in the product.
Repeat step 1 and let the Cu+2 Copper Remover sit for 3 to 5 minutes. For heavily fouled barrels, increase dwell time if needed.
Run dry patches through the barrel until they come out clean.

Repeat these steps as needed.

Before storing the firearm, run a patch soaked in the product through the barrel. This will protect the barrel from rust for up to 2 weeks under normal storage conditions. Before the next use, always run a dry patch through the barrel to remove any residue and ensure a clean bore.
