The A-Zoom .22 Long Rifle Snap Caps have the same dimensions as the original cartridge and are suitable for dry-fire practice and firearms handling training. These training cartridges are made from hard-anodised aluminium and contain no propellant or primer.

With .22 LR, the firing pin strikes the rim of the snap cap, causing wear over time. They are therefore not suitable for continuous use.
