The Hunting Sport 22LR cleaning-rod guide protects the bore and makes maintenance of your rifle easier. It centers the cleaning rod through the chamber, prevents metal-on-metal contact and thus avoids scratches and premature wear.

Installation is straightforward. Slide the guide into the receiver — it locks automatically — insert the cleaning rod and start with a clean bore. Thanks to precise guidance and secure locking, you’ll clean the barrel faster and more gently than with conventional methods.

Innovative Design

The cleaning-rod guide for .22 Long Rifle features a unique design. It locks automatically into the rifle’s receiver via the translation stop of the bolt cap. This prevents the guide from being pulled out together with the rod — a detail most off-the-shelf models lack.

Removal is done the same way as pulling out your bolt cap.

Say goodbye to dirty hands!

On the top of the guide there is a window that lets you wet your patch with technical firearm care products such as copper remover or decarbonizer. These products can contain toxic ingredients — it’s important to minimise skin contact wherever possible.

Perfect guidance — save time

Cleaning .22 LR rifles is often very demanding. Extractor claws get dirty easily, the bore diameter is very small which requires precise handling at the muzzle, and the cleaning rod is thin and therefore flexible. In short: cleaning a .22 Long Rifle is more difficult than cleaning larger calibres.
